Yes the sounds must be created from scratch by yourself and you must have the express permission over all rights to the sounds.

obv you need to generate a basic sound from somewhere then tweek that, what vst can i use to do this? all i need is something very basic, i can tweek it from there

Most sample packs are generated from sounds used from previous mixes and productions all bounced down separately and then catalogued for the sample pack.
Personally Ste if you have your own library of stuff why would you want to give it away , i think there's more value in keeping your own sounds for your own productions than giving them away on sample cd's which don't generate that much revenue unless you are Mr Vengeance of course ! |

Yeah I agree, it does annoy me to **** when when people put up sample packs and they just there favourite vengeance samples renamed of corse lol. I made a sample pack a while back was thinking of putting it up but best keep it for your own productions. Like said above if you make your own sounds for scratch i.e init patch then that is your sound, you could also tweek other peoples till it is not recognisable.
